In line with this, they also know when to minimise their volume so that conversation is not disrupted but instead complimented. Funky Munky understand that volume is a major concern when having any live band; however being a trio makes it easy for them to alter their sound to suit your liking. The band also offers recorded background music and/or facilities to allow you to put your playback device through their PA system before and after sets. They will even cue up any recordings desired for special moments during your event. If there is a particular song that you would like Funky Munky to perform that isnt a part of their repertoire, then you will be happy to hear that Funky Munky offer a complimentary song request to every client. Their equipment is of a professional standard and appropriately sized for the type of performances they do. You can also have peace of mind knowing that they have backups available for almost every piece of equipment in the event that one of their first-choice components malfunctions.Whether your event is of a formal, smart-casual or casual nature, Funky Munky will dress accordingly and will even make an effort to blend in with your theme (if applicable).The typical involvement of Funky Munky at a function would include:Setup up of equipment before guests arrival so that the band and/or PA facilities are ready for use from the start of the event.Performance time where anywhere from 1.5 - 4hrs of live music is performed. The total performance time is usually divided into 45min sets or thereabouts; however this can be varied to suit your needs.Pre/Post-Performance time occurs between live performance sets during your event, which allows for meals, speeches and other formalities to take place. The PA can be used during this time for announcements, speeches and playing background music either supplied by you or the band.The above options easily allow Funky Munky to customise a performance arrangement to suit your time and budget requirements. Funky Munky are aware that functions do not always go according to plan, but you can have comfort in knowing that they can instantly modify their set times/lengths to work smoothly with proceedings, as needed.

Things that influence the cost of hiring Funky Munky include:
•The Performance time i.e. the total amount live performance
•Pre/post-performance time i.e. the total duration of the
event minus the total performance time
•Customisation of the repertoire and set-list for the function
•Requests for songs that aren't part of their current repertoire
•PA hire & setup
•Event location
Examples of fees for Funky Munky Band's services for
a total duration of 5 hours at Pepper's Creek Barrel Room,
Hunter Valley with varying total amounts of performance time are:
$1,215 for 1.5 hrs (e.g. 2 x 45min sets)
$1,460 for 2.25 hrs (e.g. 3 x 45min sets)
$1,710 for 3 hrs (e.g. 4 x 45min sets)
$1,955 for 3.75 hrs (e.g. 5 x 45min sets)
If the date of your event falls between September through to May, it is advisable to book entertainment at
least 8-12 months in advance in order to avoid the prospect of conflicting bookings, so the earlier the better.
